The deadline for submission of abstract is 31 October 2009 and full paper submission is 01 December 2009. The conference conveners will accept papers in English only. All abstracts for submission must be written in MS Word Format using Arial font size 11 and not to exceed 300 words except graphical illustrations when deemed necessary for inclusion. All papers will be subjected to double blind review by the GPB panel of reviewers. Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings. ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The 2010 International Conference on Management Education and Practice (ICMEP 2010) which will be held on February 19-21, 2010 at Garden Villa Kaohsiung, Kao Hsiung, Taiwan intends to feature the latest developments in business education and the best management practices worldwide through the presentations coming from the different participants from all the continents of the world. It is a venue for discussions on key subjects within the field of Business Education, Research and Management Practice. It is the intention of the conference conveners to facilitate direct learning on the part of the participants through this personal encounter session among global business educators, researchers and practitioners

ICMEP 2010 is a unique academic conference in the sense that it promotes a relaxed atmosphere and an open environment fostering respectful participation and understanding of the forthcoming sharing among the participants. Its international dimension enriches discussions through a cross-cultural mix of perspectives, experiences, and studies. “Boundary is not an issue anymore,” said Dr. Cristina G. Gallato, the overall committee co-chairperson for the celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of Saint Mary’s University (SMU) as she expounded on the theme of this year’s foundation day celebration.

She explained that this year’s celebration serves as an “eye opener” to the Marian community to “get out of the traditional box because there are lots of opportunities outside.” Dr. Gallato left everyone a thought to ponder on: “When you already have grandchildren and your grandchildren ask you, ‘where did you graduate?’. Will you be able to say: from Saint Mary’s University, the pride of the north? (And) the pride of the Philippines?”
