Junior Hospitality Management Student is Labong Cookfest Champion during the 1st Bayongyong Festival

Mr. Jude Victor D. Domincel hailed as champion during the Labong cook fest on August 3, 2017 at the Bayombong Town Hall. This competition is one among the highlighted activities for the 1st Bayongbong Festival for the town of Bayombong. It’s a cookfest wherein in competitors need to prepare a main course out of bamboo shoot (local name, labong). Mr. Domincel’s winning entry is named, Ufud Atsara anna Inninaw (Deconstructed Ga’dang Bamboo Shoot Atsara & Dinengdeng). Moreover, classmate Ms. Kristelle Angela G. Tongson got the third place with her entry, Ufud, Agurong anna Tukmim Praline (Bamboo Shoot & River Shellfishes Modernized Embotido). They were coached by HTM Instructors, Mr. Noel A. Abiva & Mr. John Michael C. Ibarra. Other competing schools come from Nueva Vizcaya State University and PLT College.

 On the extremes are the coaches and on center are the winners as they were awarded with trophies and cash prize on the eve of August 3, 2017.
