PPPDMO pushes for Infrastructure Projects
A long with the University President’s plan and initiative for safe and healthy working environment for Saint Mary’s University, the Maintenance Department has tapped the services an
outside contractor for the laying out of concrete pavers from Sacred Heart Center to UB Park.The said pathway was done via the initiative of Rev. Fr. Renillo H. Sta. Ana, CICM this
aims to provide access path on said area especially when programs will be conducted to both buildings. This was done during the term of former retired PPPDMO Head, Engr. Pascual B. Cabatic as of May 2013.
As of June 2013, Maintenance Department (PPPDMO) was asked by the Center for Alternative and Continuing Education (CACE) to install the bath tub and provide an area for laundry asone of the
requirements of TESDA for the Training and Assessment of Saint Mary’s University.
The said project is a carry over project from former PPPDMO Head Engr. Pascual B. Cabatic to Engr. Leonido A. Costales, Jr., as of July 2013, CACE again, strongly recommended specifications for the laundry
area and this was being reviewed by PPPDMO. The budget has also been approved for the full compliance of the SMU administration.
A Clean Healthy Safe and Friendly hours was conducted last July 17, 2013 starting 3:30 to 5:00 PM as per agreed during the Extended Advisory Board meeting. The program revives the annual
re-launching of the CHSF Program of the university and aims a well coordinated program where Departmental Schools, Faculties, Staffs and Students has done their part in cleaning their
respective areas, zones, and offices. It was observed that Marian spirit of camaraderie of unity is always there for the sake of love and care to Saint Mary’s University.
Aside from the above mentioned highlights of July activity, the construction of the K-12 building has commenced, which is in-line for the preparation of SMU for the nationwide program of the government.
